Carrot Creek Regional Master Drainage Plan – Field work

The Municipalities of St. Albert, Sturgeon County and the Town of Morinville, have collaboratively embarked on the development of a Regional Master Drainage Plan, surrounding Carrot Creek. The Master Drainage Plan will provide various outputs, inclusive of long-term support to lands within the watershed and study the movement of surface water throughout the area towards Carrot Creek.

The City of St. Albert, in consultation with Sturgeon County and the Town of Morinville, have commissioned Stantec Consulting Ltd. to develop the Carrot Creek Regional Master Drainage Plan.

Stantec, on behalf of the City of St. Albert and the other stakeholders, will be conducting environmental field work to develop a plan to preserve and protect the Carrot Creek drainage corridor. Stantec will be conducting non-invasive field work within Sturgeon County. Residents adjacent to Carrot Creek should have received a letter dated April 20, 2020.

For more information, or if you are adjacent to Carrot Creek and have not yet received a letter please contact Hannah Kratky via CarrotCreekRMDP@stantec.com
